As a community healthcare system, Crozer-Keystone Health System is committed to providing quality healthcare to the people of Delaware County and surrounding communities. For that commitment, Crozer-Keystone Health System has been honored with the following recent awards: 

J.D. Power and Associates Distinguished Hospital ProgramSM - Crozer-Chester Medical Center was the first hospital in the nation to achieve this distinction for outstanding outpatient services; Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Springfield Hospital and Taylor Hospital all achieved this distinction for inpatient services. In fact, all three hospitals exceeded the national benchmark study score for overall inpatient satisfaction.

 

HealthGrades - has recognized Crozer-Chester Medical Center for clinical excellence in cardiac care, ranking the hospital in the top 10 percent nationally for Cardiology and for Coronary Interventional Procedures (Angioplasty/Stenting). In addition, the hospital achieved five-star ratings in four clinical areas of cardiology, including coronary interventional procedures, heart attack, heart failure and valve replacement surgery.

 

VHA Leadership Award for Evidence-Based Medicine Program; one of only six health care organizations in the nation to be honored.

 

Achievement Award in the area of Community Stewardship from the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) for the Kids Asthma Management Program.

 

Innovator Award from Hospitals and Health Networks magazine for using technology to work with radiologists in Israel to provide evening radiology support.

 

Radiological Society of North America Fellows Research Training Prize for Picture Archiving Communications System.

 

American Hospital Association NOVA Award winner for excellence and innovation in community health.

 

One of America’s Top 100 Integrated Healthcare Systems (six consecutive years).

 

VHA Health Foundation’s Health System of Promise designation for commitment to the future of children.

 

First-ever Employer of the Year Award from the Friends of the Delaware County Women’s Commission for providing professional advancement opportunities for women.

 

VHA Leadership Award in the system category for improving clinical effectiveness.

 

HAP Achievement Award Winner for Wellness Works, CKHS’s employee-based health promotion and education program, and recipient of the Pennsylvania Health Educators Institute’s Worksite Health Promotion award.

 

HAP’s Award for Compassionate Care in recognition of the Peaceful Journey Partnership and its efforts to address the rights of the dying.

 

Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Award with Widener University and the  University City Science Center.
