New in September 2009: Greatly Expanded Crozer-Keystone Health Information Site
Visitors to Crozer-Keystone Health System's health information website have access to more content than ever before. Launched in September 2009, the Crozer-Keystone Health Information site includes the following new information:
- An enhanced Health Information landing page that includes daily updates of health news, interactive media, health centers, tip of the day, and much more.
- Easier access to the health information through the use of left-hand navigation.
- The ability to more easily track your place on the site through the use of navigation 'bread crumbs' at the top of every health information page.
- A new search feature devoted exclusively to our enhanced health information content.
- A greatly expanded Health Library that now includes Healthy Recipes, Herbs, Vitamins and Supplements, a News Center, Nutrition Facts and Prevention Guidelines.
- The addition of a new Multimedia Library that includes Clinical Wizards, Podcasts and Videos.
- A brand new Healthy Living wellness section that includes current, in-depth information on Back and Neck Care, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Fitness, Mental Health, Nutrition, Smoking Cessation, Stress Management and Weight Management.
- Additions to the Health Centers, including Asthma, COPD, and Obesity and Bariatric Surgery.
- A new section, Your Family, that includes in-depth information about the health of Children, Men, Older Adults and Women.
- New Interactive Tools including calculators and health risk assessments.
We continue to offer our extensive adult and pediatric Diseases and Conditions; Diagnostic Tests and Procedures; and a Drug Reference.
In addition to the new health information site, we offer additional sources of health information, including:
- Health information and health news through our HealthVision Content
- Health Video Clips that feature CKHS on local news channels about news-breaking health topics
- A multi-purpose Virtual Library with hundreds of links to useful information for medical professionals, patients, and anyone interested in becoming an educated healthcare consumer.
