What is psychotherapy?
Psychology is openly sharing your concerns, thoughts, and feelings with a professional in a group or individual setting. You may be asked to complete assignments, agreed tasks or homework assignment outside the therapy session. You will be expected to show up for sessions as scheduled and to give advance notice in any emergency case of a cancellation (the only exception is in cases of last-minute emergencies).
You are choosing to take responsibility for your life, to recognize and acknowledge your pain and humanness, and to find new strength within yourself. In some situations, a combination of medication and therapy may be the most effective way to treat symptoms.

Talk to your case manager. If you are not sure who that is, a secretary can direct you appropriately.
